UTulsa Student to Perform at First Friday

Join us at 101 Archer on Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m.

The Oklahoma Center for the Humanities looks forward to hosting the final First Friday of the semester on December 6. View our South Gallery exhibit, Into Light, before it closes December 14, and browse our newest exhibit in the North Gallery, West (of Eden) featuring a curation of thirteen oil paintings by artist M. Walker Nelson.

After touring the exhibits, grab a free bite to eat from the lobby, a drink from the cash bar, and listen to HONOR, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, currently studying Business Marketing, Mathematics, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tulsa. Read more about her below.

Honor is a Nashville recording artist and songwriter, as well as a proud University of Tulsa student. She is signed to the award-winning record label, SweetSong Nashville, on Music Row in Nashville, TN and just completed her first album.

Her first four videos for her songs “Bad Day to Fish,” “Miracle of Love,” “What’s Up with That,” and “Creek Arisin’” have garnered more than 1.3 Million views on YouTube. Two of these songs hit the Top Ten on the European Hotdisc chart. HONOR’s music can be heard on all streaming platforms.

Honor loves horses, rodeos, the outdoors, and every animal on the planet. She also loves playing her guitar and performing, spending time with family, and helping others.
