Be sure to catch this dynamic performance by TU Jazz Band students as a featured event during the 2nd Annual TU Arts and Humanities Festival, Tuesday, April 28 from 1 to 1:50 p.m. at the Lorton Performance Center! You’ll be treated to “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To,” Cole Porter; “Samba Dee’s Godda Do It,” Tom Kubis; “We’ll Be Together Again,” Carl Fischer & Frankie Laine; “Can’t Buy Me Love,” John Lennon and Paul McCartney; “Stolen Moments,” Oliver Nelson; “So What,” Miles Davis; “Black Coffee,” Francis Webster and Sonny Burke; “Round Midnight,” Thelonious Monk; “In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning,” David Mann and Bob Hilliard; “Yo Conecto,” Walter White; and “Every Day I Have the Blues,” Peter Chatman. Vocalist: Sarah Richardson. Saxophones: Bobby Kitchen (alto/soprano/flute), Greg Jones (alto), Brian Gault (tenor/flute), Victoria Webber (tenor), Zach Rolph (baritone).
